The Massachusetts Correctional Institution, Framingham, houses females sentenced to imprisonment, awaiting trial, or committed by the courts for alcohol or substance abuse treatment (MGLA c 125, s 16; c 123, s 35). Under the supervision of the superintendent, the deputy superintendent for operations is responsible for ensuring prison security. Authorization to enter forms are created to authorize the entrance into the facility of visitors who are not regular institutional staff and visitors to inmates outside regular visiting hours.
